On April 30th, 2024, Professor Witman Hung, JP, a distinguished figure in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), delivered an insightful presentation on open innovation in AI. Professor Hung is renowned as the co-founder of the Shenzhen Zebra Star Acceleration Platform and a founding partner of Open City Community International. With an impressive career spanning 37 years in the ICT industry, he brings extensive experience as an angel investor. Currently, Professor Hung holds positions as an Adjunct Professor at City University of Hong Kong and Hainan University, and serves as an independent non-executive director of four companies listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

 

During his presentation, Professor Hung provided a comprehensive overview of AI, delving into its background, development, and evolution. He highlighted the transformative impact of AI on organizations, enabling their miniaturization and reshaping entire industries through novel paradigms and approaches.
