To understand the real-world applications of artificial intelligence in multiple fields, the MSc in e-Business and Supply Chain Management Programme from Lingnan University visited the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR), Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences on 26 November 2022 Sciences. The event included popular science lectures and instrument visits. The atmosphere was lively, and Hong Kong were present for interviews.
During the visit, the Innovation Center provided students with lectures on the basic principles of AI art, AI and computer vision. There are also many scientific and technological instruments for students to visit, including neurosurgery flexible surgical robot system, multi-modal intelligent operating room, etc.
At this event, Hong Kong news media Dot Dot News conducted an exclusive interview with Prof Aihua Yan, Associate Professor of Faulty of Business of Lingnan University and Associate Director of the MSc in e-Business and Supply Chain Management of Lingnan University. The interview mentioned that this activity helped to supplement students’ understanding of various aspects of science and technology, and cultivated students’ innovative spirit.
