eBSCM students attended an online class which was jointly organized by Faculty of Business of Lingnan University and Tsinghua School of Social Science Global Learning on 30 March regarding silver linings for business during COVID-19.
Our professors shared their opinions on business management under the impact of the COVID-19 in aspect of marketing management, operation and supply chain management, and human resource management. There is no doubt that COVID-19 did pose significant threats to companies, but if the management is able to seize the hidden opportunities, such as developing online business, exploring new channels, and enhancing information sharing, the companies may emerge from the crisis in the strongest position possible.
Students were impressed that the class kept abreast of market changes and had a fruitful afternoon.
