Dr. CHENG, Chun-Hung, Director of Research and Technology Development at Logistics and Supply Chain Multitech R&D Centre, Professional Knowledge Sharing- “IoT applications and implementations”

Dr. CHENG, Chun-Hung, Director of Research and Technology Development at
Logistics and Supply Chain Multitech R&D Centre was invited to delivery a professional talk for our students.

Dr. Chun-Hung CHENG obtained his B.S.Sc. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and his MSc in Computer Science and PhD in Management Science from the University of Iowa. He is currently a director of research and technology development at Logistics and Supply Chain Multitech R&D Centre. Prior to this current position, he has taught at Kentucky State University, Seidman School of Business, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

In this talk, he explored the applications of tracking and sensing technologies. Specifically, he also discussed the
implementations of IoT in transport, and services operations settings.
